1- RESERVATIONS
Booking a tour with Amethyst Adventure can be done by phone, using our contact form, or by email. We provide accommodation reservations, restaurant meals, transportation solutions, tours, and other services in cooperation with independent suppliers (city guides, transportation companies, etc.). Many of the unique lodges and hotels used during the tours have limited capacity. It is strongly recommended to make reservations well in advance of your planned trip.
2- DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT
Once you have agreed on the final itinerary and price, your reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of payment as follows
A 30% non-refundable deposit is due upon confirmation of travel, the remaining 70% is due one month prior, unless otherwise agreed (see Payment Terms).
Other individual conditions must be negotiated.
The deposit must be paid before the participant’s arrival:
By bank transfer, Transferwise, or PayPal using most credit/debit cards or PayPal account Or via our website.
All reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of the initial deposit.
3- PAYMENT
We give you the option to pay the final balance in advance within one month prior to your trip or to pay the balance through your driver/guide. If you choose to pay the driver/guide, the balance must be paid in cash (Dirhams, Pounds, USD, CAD, or Euros). Credit/debit cards are NOT accepted on site for security reasons. If you choose to pay the balance in the month prior to your trip, payments can be made by bank transfer, Transferwise, or by credit card via PayPal. The terms of payment of the balance will be communicated to you in writing at the time of payment.
4- TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN
Children aged 0 to 5 years are free of charge
Children aged 6 to 12 years old receive a 50% discount when sharing a room with 2 adults (parents); maximum 1 child per family.
We hope that our children’s discounts will help you with your family travel.
5- MODIFICATIONS BY THE CLIENT
Amethyste Aventure and its team of professionals will do their best to modify your arrangements but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible all the time, especially in high season and with certain hotels & riads. Modifications may result in additional fees that we will indicate to you as a supplement.
6- CANCELLATION
The Client may cancel the reservation at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to the Company in writing. Cancellation fees will be applied as indicated below, starting from the date of receipt of the written notification by the Company.
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
7 days prior to departure: 0% of the total invoice amount
6 days prior to departure: 15% of the total amount of the invoice
Less than 24 days before departure: 50% of the total amount of the invoice
7- INSURANCE
Insurance is not included in our prices. We strongly recommend that all travelers take out comprehensive travel insurance covering loss of luggage, trip interruption, medical emergencies, including repatriation, cancellation and interruption of stay.
We also recommend that each participant have the policy number and emergency phone number of his or her insurance company or at least the necessary information about the company.
8- ACCOMMODATION
The quality of accommodation may vary according to local standards in Morocco and should be judged accordingly. Hotels, riads and guest houses are booked according to availability. Whenever possible, we will inform you of the different choices available, including upgrades requiring additional fees.
9- DOCUMENTS :
It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain and carry with him/her documents attesting to his/her citizenship, such as a valid passport, and any visa if necessary.
10- RATES
The rates are given as an indication and must be reconfirmed in writing because some suppliers may increase their rates or taxes may increase.
11- RESPONSIBILITY
Amethyste Aventure is responsible for the organization of all services ordered and paid for by the customer.
Amethyste Aventure and its employees cannot be held responsible for the following events: delay or impossibility for a participant to present the required documents in good standing, loss of these documents or circumstances such as strikes, social events, accidents, death, loss of objects, bad weather, pandemics, wars, and loss of luggage or other effects.
Amethyste Aventure cannot be held responsible for a cancellation imposed by circumstances beyond its control and/or for reasons related to the safety of the participants.
Any interruption of the stay by the participant for any reason whatsoever will not be reimbursed.
If circumstances so require, in particular to ensure the safety of the entire group, for climatic reasons or unforeseen events, Amethyste Aventure reserves the right, directly or through its drivers or guides, to substitute a means of transportation, an accommodation, or an itinerary by another, as well as the dates and times of departure, without any reimbursement to the participants.
Each participant must comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by the guide and/or the driver.
Amethyste Aventure cannot be held responsible for accidents that may be due to the individual carelessness of a group member.
The information contained on our website is given as an indication. We reserve the right to modify them at any time.
12- COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint, you must immediately inform your driver or guide, who will do everything possible to help you. If you find that your designated driver is not qualified to solve the problem you have encountered, please contact our office by phone or e-mail.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the steps taken to deal with your complaint and wish to pursue it further, you must send us your complaint in writing within 2 weeks of your return giving full details.
We are committed to dealing with any dispute fairly and promptly.
13- PRIVACY POLICY
This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all necessary steps to protect your personal information.
